General

Invisible aligners are these amazing, totally clear plastic devices custom made to fit your teeth. They gradually shift your teeth so that they’re straight and your smile looks great.
Yes! We now offer a premium aligner system that allows you to straighten your teeth while you sleep! Every night, you'll wear your aligners for a minimum of 10 hours continuously paired with 10 minutes of the HyperByte.
Based off of the impressions you take at home, our orthodontic team will create a smile that is all your own. You get a set of custom invisible aligners that moves your teeth safely, a little at a time. After you wear each aligner for one week, you progress to the next set, until you complete the program and achieve the perfect smile. Please note that in order to switch your aligners every week you will need to use HyperByte for 5 minutes a day and wear your aligners for 22 hours a day.
Our invisible aligners are made of a BPA-free highly transparent, medical grade, polymer film. Our cutting edge aligners are smooth and durable. Don’t let the good looks fool you though, these babies are high impact, tear resistant bad asses that keep your teeth in line while keeping you comfortable.
No. byte invisible aligners are cut straight across. This is the best way for the aligners to grip your teeth and create the gentle force needed to straighten them.
byte is designed to work for minor to moderate alignment, including correcting spacing, crowding between teeth and rotation. Your at-home impressions will give us the information we need to know if you are a good candidate for byte. If you’re not, we’ll refund the full price of the Impression Kit.
Its different for everyone, but the typical treatment plan at byte take 2-4 months and is often much faster than our competitors thanks to HyperByte.
We treat ages 12 and above when you have all of your adult teeth and have been approved by one of our Orthodontists. If you are under 18 we will need your parent's consent.

Health

It’s a good idea to wait six weeks after having your wisdom teeth removed to start byte. You might be able to start sooner if your surgeon says it’s okay, but we would need a signed release form from the office where you had the procedure done.
Follow your dentist’s recommendation. If they think you need to have your wisdom teeth removed, take care of that first, then think about straightening your teeth with byte.
It’s possible. Our dentists will need to take a look at your impressions to know for sure. If you’re not a candidate, youll get a refund for the Impression Kit.

A little, maybe. Just like when you step up your workout at the gym, you’ll feel some soreness for a few days when you start wearing a new aligner. It’s a good sign. It means the aligner is working. If it’s really bad or lasts longer than a few days, we’re here for you. Contact us.
It’s not unsafe, but we want you to be aware that pregnancy can cause your teeth to shift, which means you could need new impressions and aligners. Also, some people find aligning uncomfortable during pregnancy. We recommend waiting until you’re not pregnant to do byte.

Yes, we have top certified professional dentists at byte reviewing your teeth and determining the best program for you. These people are as professional as the local dentist you see in person. Their number one priority is the health of your mouth.

No. Since moving your teeth changes your bite, we need to take both sets of teeth into account. All plans include upper and lower aligners. They work together to improve the look and health of your teeth.
We make your aligners to fit your mouth without getting in your way. It might not be necessary to move your back teeth to get the results you want.
All the time, pretty much. Or as much as you possibly can. Only take your aligners out to eat and drink.
We recommend changing your aligners at night before bed.
No, none! With byte, you never need to set foot in a dentist’s office. Except for your regular cleanings, of course.
Not a big deal. If your aligner gets lost or damaged, you can order a replacement for $129. While you’re waiting for your replacement aligner, wear the previous one so you don’t lose progress. To order a replacement, contact us.
You wear your retainers. This is really important because you want to make sure you keep your teeth in place. Once you have completed treatment you will only need to wear your retainers at when you sleep at night (8 hours).

Yes. We think straight teeth should be bright and healthy-looking, so we include BrightByte, a 3-in-1 foam cleanser, teeth whitening gel and breath freshener.

Yes, it’s fine to keep wearing them unless you’re severely ill or actively vomiting. If you happen to vomit with your aligners in, you should take them out and clean them right away.
For dental emergencies, contact your local dentist or call 911.
Always clean your aligners when you take them out. Rinse them under cool water, then brush them with your toothbrush. You don’t need toothpaste for this. We also provide BrightByte whitening gel, which also doubles as a foam cleanser. So you can put that in when you replace your aligners. Just please always rinse your aligners immediately when you take them out. You don’t want residue that causes your aligners to look cloudy or discolored.
Yes, and we’ll provide it for you. We don’t recommend using another whitening gel because it could damage your aligners. If you’re going to use something other than BrightByte, only use a plain, hydrogen peroxide based product, with a concentration of 3.5% and no other active ingredients.
We do not recommend smoking as it causes discoloring, bad breath and an overall unsexy smile.
No. You’ll need to remove your aligners if you’re eating or drinking anything other than plain water.
No, please don’t do this. Your aligners are designed to move your teeth at an optimum pace that is neither too slow, nor too fast. If your aligners fall out or don’t fit properly at any point, let us know and we’ll take care of the problem.
Sometimes, updates to your plan may be necessary. You could need an adjustment at the end of your treatment that consists of extra sets of aligners. If, in the middle of your treatment, your teeth are not tracking according to plan, we may need you to take new impressions and continue treatment according to the new starting point. If anything seems off at any time, let us know.
