If your benefits expire at the end of the year, you have until Monday, December 31 at 11:59 p.m. ET to place an order with us using your FSA dollars. Be sure to double-check with your carrier for details on your plan.
Split payments between your FSA and a different card.
If you’d like to use your FSA or HSA card to pay for a portion of your purchase and apply the remaining balance to a different card, we can do it! Just call us!

Can I use my FSA for byte?

Yes!  With byte being an orthodontic service, the following items are a covered expense for almost all flexible spending and health savings accounts:

  • Impression Kit
  • byte Aligner System including Hyperbyte.
  • Retainers
How do I use my FSA/HSA for byte?

If your account is tied to a major debit card, we can take payment up front using your card.  If not, we’ll help you with your reimbursement receipt after you pay for your aligners.

Can I use my dental insurance AND my FSA/HSA for byte?

Actually, yes!  Just utilize your major credit/debit card associated with your FSA to pay for your treatment.  Then, if you have qualifying orthodontic coverage included in your dental plan, we’ll help you with your insurance claim form to get the proper reimbursement.

My FSA benefits expire at the end of the year. How do I need to order?

Since it’s late in the year, we’ll allow you to purchase your impression kit and aligner system together so you don’t lose your dollars.

What if I’m not a candidate?

Our same policy applies if it’s determined you're not a candidate.  Your payment will be refunded to the card you used for payment.

What happens to my money if I used my FSA card and I need to be refunded after the first of the year?

We recommend checking with your FSA provider to get that info, as each carrier is different.

What if I don’t have enough money in my FSA to cover the full cost?

We recommend that you double check to see how much you have in your FSA.  If you need to split the payment between your FSA and another card, we can manually process your order over the phone.
